I'm Chiara, a UX/UI Designer based in the Netherlands. My career as a designer is driven by an endless curiosity and a passion for solving problems.

My Professional Journey

My fascination with the human brain and the psychology behind perception and interaction inspired me to make a tangible impact through design. I began my journey while working full-time as a Content Moderator and enrolled in the Professional Diploma of UX Design at The UX Design Institute of Dublin. I graduated with a score of 96/100, a program credit-rated by Glasgow Caledonian University.

Furthering my expertise, I earned a Design Thinking Certificate from Growth Tribe and a Professional Certificate in Visual Design from The UX Design Institute, achieving a grade of 92/100. These programs equipped me with the skills to master user research, creative interface design, and rigorous hypothesis testing.

In my current role at Booking.com, I leverage my UX design skills to enhance processes and improve user experience. By conducting user research and analyzing data, I identify pain points and opportunities for optimization. I collaborate with my team to design intuitive interfaces and streamline workflows, ensuring my proposed solutions are user-centric and effective. Besides team-oriented UX design solutions, I am also tasked with user-facing interface design and visuals.

Currently, I am also broadening my knowledge of the business industry by taking classes and courses in Product Management and Data Analytics.

Beyond Design

When I'm not immersed in design, I enjoy biking through the countryside, with my longest ride being 120 km. Exploring new places and cultures, particularly natural and wild environment such as Norway and Iceland, recharges my creativity. At home, I love spending time with my two furry cats, Ake and Runa.
